Really well depicted and so true!!
I oscillated between being the kewldude and the guruj in most cases, and surely takes me back to my engineering days.

    Great work, Pradyut!

    • February 6, 2011 1:22 pm

      Thankesh! πŸ™‚

But I must let you know, that you can never be a kewldude AND the Guruji at the same time. We know who you are πŸ˜›

  2. February 6, 2011 3:36 am

    AWESOME read!
slick screenplay and 100% true! πŸ˜›
    I was the cooldude! πŸ˜›

Dude! Seriously, I can’t stop laughing! And the ‘anti-social elements’ part, it happens all the time. AWESOME!

    • February 6, 2011 1:23 pm

Dude, trust me. I ruined many a vacations after getting to know that I screwed an exam AFTER getting out of the exam hall.

  4. February 6, 2011 12:58 pm

Ha ha ha!! U ripped it!!!!! LOL !! Dats precisely my brother’s life story so far!! he he he!!

    • February 6, 2011 1:24 pm

Super stuff. That takes me back 10-12 years, and its the same

    • February 6, 2011 3:46 pm

      Thank you! πŸ™‚

The preparation method in itself is a legacy! πŸ˜€

Shaabash Pradyut! πŸ™‚ I enjoyed reading it. Identify completely with the characters. You’ve pwned the content and editing. [And there’s no such thing as too-much-blog-plug on twitter]

    • February 6, 2011 7:57 pm

Thanks Pushkar! I was the ‘kewldude’ and the ‘rockdude’ while at college. Owe my Engineering degree to my ‘Guruji’. πŸ˜€

  9. February 6, 2011 7:41 pm

It was “hey this is exactly what happens” and a feeling of “damn, we were so stupid” till I came to important tips #1. Epic ROFL there!

    • February 6, 2011 7:59 pm

      Thanks Manan!

Trust me, it still works. There is no such thing as confusing the examiner with random fundaes πŸ˜€

      • February 6, 2011 8:21 pm

have always avoided the anti-social elements. In fact treated them like one! And you brought some good memories of hot invigilator and hot classmate πŸ˜› Bang on target.

    • February 6, 2011 8:57 pm

      Haha. Me too πŸ˜‰
Such distractions proved to be very costly in such tense situations. πŸ˜€

Hilarious AND nostalgic! Could put names to every character!

Next, something on cheating/excuses after getting caught or something like that maybe?

    Great work!

    • February 6, 2011 8:58 pm

      Thanks Shrey!

Will try and dedicate another post to the ‘art of cheating/excuses’ in a future post! πŸ˜‰

Hahahaha. Hilarious! Leaving aside the “engineer” part, I can totally relate to it. I love the Gtalk chat windows.

I am usually too nervous to spot hot guys in the hall. And discussing question papers is pointless. Idiots only.

Superb stuff. Very creative. Keep it up πŸ™‚

    • February 7, 2011 3:35 pm

      Thanks Aishwarya! πŸ˜€

As is the case with most topper types, I see why you find discussing the question paper pointless πŸ˜›

Perfectly documented account of every engineering student in India, I can say from my own experience. You forgot to give credit to one most important element responsible for getting passing marks in exams- The Xerox/Photocopy Machine. Without it, what would we do!

    • February 11, 2011 2:58 am

I know. Totally forgot about it. Maybe in a future post giving more elaborate tips :p

  28. February 17, 2011 10:59 am
